This images were the winners of the "BELLIDO ABOGADOS en Ayaviri" painting contest, which took place at the San Francisco de Asís and Escuela Buen Samaritano schools in Ayaviri, Puno. In this area, located in the south western region on Peru at about 13,000 feet above sea level, extreme poverty is very high. The nine contest winners will receive scholarship for a year, obtaining access to a quality education that will promote their advancement.
